Alcatraz Island’s prison ruins are said to be haunted. One of Alcatraz’s most infamous inmates, Al Capone, is said to haunt the prison. While an inmate in his later years, Al Capone took to playing his banjo in the shower room. Recently, a park ranger heard banjo music coming from the shower room when the prison was vacant. Other visitors report hearing the sounds of banjo playing as well.
